ATLANTA METRO LIONS CLUB CELEBRATES IT'S TENTH ANNIVERSARY
February 7, 2003
Grand Ballroom, Georgian Terrace Hotel
The Grand Ballroom at the Georgian Terrance Hotel was truly grand. The air
was filled with excitement. We had to compete with extremely bad traffic but everyone
arrived safely. The Lions and their guests were dressed to a tee and in a festive mood.
The Red Carpet at the Golden Globe and the Oscars couldn't hold a candle to the fashions
that were worn that night. The service was superb, the food was excellent, and the Bill
Odum Orchestra was on point and played all types of music ranging from jazz to R&B to
rock-n-roll. The dance floor was packed with dancers celebrating 10 years of Lionism. If
you didn't know that Lions can dance, you should have been there.
We were celebrating a milestone. Ten years of service. Ten years of making
our community, our city, our state, our country, and our world a better place. Ten years
of working to eliminate blindness. Ten years of giving. We look forward to serving for
many more years. We are the Atlanta Metro Lions Club. WE SERVE!!
