The Atlanta Metro Lions attended the 81st annual Georgia State Convention
held in Athens, Georgia. The seminars were very interesting and informative; the booths
had invaluable information and great deals along with "give-aways"; the Georgia
Lions All State Band was superb; the banquet was festive; and the division breakfast
meetings were as tasty as the breakfast that was served. Lion W. Allen Broughton, Director
of Lions Club International, gave a very amusing and challenging speech at the banquet;
and awards, awards and more awards were given to the different clubs and individual Lions
recognizing their untiring work. Atlanta Metro Lions were among the recipients of awards.
Check out our awards page to find out who all were recognized. But
what we have here are pictures. These pictures were taken at the District 18-A
Breakfast Meeting that was held Sunday morning, May 26th.
The pictures below show us: (1) Lion Vanessa Stanley, Region 1 Chairman
