PUBLIC SAFETY DAY

The Atlanta Metro Lions Club annually honors men and women in public safety that volunteer their time, off duty, to community service. Public Safety Day 2002 was held at the new Paschal Restaurant on May 3rd and was a tremendous success. We were very honored to have on program our illustrious Mayor Shirley Franklin. Our Guiding Lion George Haney, of Hapeville Lions Club, and his beautiful wife joined us for the festivities.  I don't know who was the most excited, the honorees or our Lion members.
